This closure for carbonated and non-carbonated beverages is made of a special aluminium alloy which fulfils the mechanical requirements of the manufacturing process during its production and its appliance. It possesses an internal lacquering of high-quality anti-corrosion adhesive varnish and a low-friction outer lacquering of protective varnish. The print of the aluminium closure can be designed in various ways according to your wishes. For a cold filling we recommend a liner made of PVC-free materials which comply with European law and FDA standards. For pasteurisation and hot filling there are also foamed plastisol liners beside the PVC-free ones. The compounds we use comply with the frame directive (EC) 1935-2004 for objects made of plastics which are meant to come in contact with food. Furthermore the materials also comply with the directive 2002/72/EC.

The gas proof closure with a security ring for temper-evidence is a kind of aluminium closure. There are two different types: Closures with a bottle anchored security ring (RS) especially for non-returnable bottles and closures with a five-split security ring that is attached to the cap (5SE) especially for returnable bottles.

Roll-on aluminium closures guarantee the temper-evidence with a paper seal instead of a security ring. This system is known for its price advantages and its low injury risk.

Why aluminium closures?

Aluminium closures have delivered an optimal performance throughout the years due to their technical and optical characteristics. Owing to various possibilities concerning the graphic design aluminium closures are perfectly suited as a marketing device for the unique representation of your brand.

Legal regulations concerning the contact between food and packaging materials are getting stricter and stricter. We can fulfil these regulations on a long-term basis by the introduction of new technologies for PVC-free liner recipes. Another reason is that metal has perfect recycling qualities: You can recycle it over and over again without the quality becoming inferior. That preserves natural resources for future generations and it reduces the energy consumption and the emission of carbon dioxide. Waste disposal in the conventional way becomes needless because packaging materials made of metal are raw materials which are too valuable to throw them away.
